Pat is a photographer in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories, covering people, life and environment in Canada's Far North.
Pat takes a documentary approach to the stories impacting Northerners, with a special focus on indigenous issues and empowerment. He approaches his subjects with respect and empathy, giving people a collaborative sense to the photo making process. Whether it is a commercial campaign or an in-depth photojournalism project, Pat values honesty in his photographs which results in visual stories that are expressive and intimate.
Pat is an Algonquin Anishinaabe member of the Timiskaming First Nation on the territory that is now Quebec, and part of the international indigenous photo collective Natives Photograph.
